On this tour, you will have the opportunity to experience the Finnish bog landscape in an entirely new depth. During the tour, we will sense the bog environment in many different ways, acrivating our senses with various small exercises that timultaneously calm our minds and bodies.

We can also immerse ourselves in the different stories of the bog and how it has been experienced in earlier times, in the relationship between ancient Finnish people and nature.

The tour takes place in Salamajärvi National Park, on the "Vaatimen kierros" trail, which is approximately 2 km in lenght.

The tour is guided by Marja, Löytöläntytär, a nature guide and Salamajärvi National Park expert. This adventure is safe and suitable for all ages and various fitness levels. The trail is relatively easy to walk, though not fully accessible and includes some rocky sections. We'll cross the bog areas safely on boardwalks.

You'll need weather-appropriate clothing and your own water botlle for the tour.
